Nearly five years ago, a couple was killed when their SUV rolled over on Highway 98. The SUV wasn't hit by another vehicle. The driver of the SUV did nothing wrong. In fact, the accident was not caused by anyone or anything on the road that day.
Torrential rains in San Diego County and throughout Southern California have contributed to hundreds of auto accidents over the last few days. Fortunately, it looks like the rain and storm may start to subside just in time for holiday travel. Forecasts still predict more rain today and tonight, but by later this week, the rain is expected to stop as the storms move on to the east.
