A family is grieving after a fatal head-on collision just north of San Diego. According the California Highway Patrol, a young man who graduated from Poway High School was heading west on State Route 56 toward Black Mountain Road when an SUV began to drift leftward toward the center median.
Two years ago, a woman who was driving drunk caused a tragic accident. At the time of the crash, the woman's blood alcohol content was reportedly three times the legal limit. She allegedly crashed her SUV into a vehicle that was pulled over and the SUV then rolled over. The woman was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and her fiancé, who was also in the vehicle, was partially ejected from the SUV.

However, statistics from San Diego road traffic officers have revealed that the dangers facing service members do not disappear once they return home but merely change gears.
