Follow these steps after you are bitten by an animal

Let's say that you get bit by a dog or some other animal. The owner of the dog or animal certainly seems like a nice person, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the animal is properly trained, or even that the owner is a responsible pet owner. Here's the question: what steps should you follow in the wake of the animal attack?

Retaining wall collapses at construction site, kills worker

An unfortunate accident at a construction site killed a worker in his 50s recently. The accident occurred north of San Diego, California in Oceanside when a retaining wall at the construction site suddenly collapsed and fell on the worker. It is unknown at this time why the retaining wall collapsed, but an investigation is ongoing -- a standard procedure when a workplace accident occurs, especially a fatal one.

Remember these three key areas of truck driving law

Driving past a truck on the highway can be an intimidating and scary experience, even if you have done it thousands of times before. Even breeds notorious for being potentially deadly are considered innocent until proven dangerous.

What are the 6 most common types of pedestrian accidents?

As we've mentioned before on this blog, California led the nation last year in the number of fatal pedestrian accidents, with an estimated 701 people killed that way. That number came from a report by the Governors Highway Safety Association, which also found that 70 percent of pedestrian fatalities occur between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
