What Is Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy?

RSD (also called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS) can be caused by a physical trauma, surgery, heart attack or infection. Major symptoms of RSD include:

• Muscle spasms
• Changes in skin temperature and color
