Eric Gritz is the head of the worker's compensation department at Bender & Gritz and he also handles Longshore and Jones Act cases for the firm.

He has devoted his practice exclusively to the representation of individuals injured on the job. He has a vast amount of experience handling all manners of worker's compensation cases, including death claims, serious and wilfull violations, 132(a) claims and toxic exposure matters. He has had over 100 trials before the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board and has obtained awards and settlements in worker's compensation cases in excess of $20 million dollars.

He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California and the South United States District Court. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the California Applicant Attorney's Association.
