William Bender
William Bender is the managing partner of Bender & Gritz. Mr. Bender handles significant personal injury, products liability, construction site injuries, wrongful death and maritime cases for the firm. He has been involved in many high profile cases in California and Arizona and has obtained several settlements and verdicts in excess of a million dollars by virtue of his aggressive reasoned representation of his clients.
He is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of the State of California and the Southern and Central United States District Courts. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, The Consumer Attorneys of California, The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, The American Trial Lawyers Association, The San Diego County Bar, The State Bar of California and he has served as an Arbitrator for the San Diego Superior Court in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death.
Eric Gritz
Eric Gritz is the head of the worker's compensation department at Bender & Gritz and he also handles Longshore and Jones Act cases for the firm.
He has devoted his practice exclusively to the representation of individuals injured on the job. He has a vast amount of experience handling all manners of worker's compensation cases, including death claims, serious and wilfull violations, 132(a) claims and toxic exposure matters. He has had over 100 trials before the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board and has obtained awards and settlements in worker's compensation cases in excess of $20 million dollars.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California and the South United States District Court. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the California Applicant Attorney's Association.
Carl Kreibich
Carl Kreibich is a partner to the firm and handles all forms of worker's compensation cases. He is the head of our Imperial County Office and has tried a substantial number of cases before the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California and the South United States District Court. He is also a member of the California Applicant Attorney's Association and has dedicated his career to fighting for and obtaining benefits for the injured worker.
Brandi Kurlander
Ms. Kurlander is a partner to the firm and is the only attorney in our office that handles both personal injury and worker's compensation cases. She has litigated several civil cases including motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents and wrongful death matters. In the worker's compensation arena she has successfully tried many cases before the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board.
She is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California and the South United States District Court and she is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, The Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the San Diego County Bar Association.
